Members may also join public chat rooms and interact with fellow Globe Circles IM members or create private chat rooms for your group discussions with friends.

Note: Only users who are registered to UNLICHAT may use and enjoy unlimited access to the service. Users who have the previous client version (prior to Sep. 15, 2009 launch of Globe Circles IM) must download the new version of the client.

If adding from phone book, note that loading of your contact list may take a while depending on the amount of contacts on your list (may sometimes take 1-2 minutes). Select all or choose users you want to add.

You may Allow, Allow and Add, or Reject a request. If permission has been granted, user will automatically see your presence status, e.g. Online, Busy, etc., and send you messages or invitations. If permission has been denied, you will always appear as Offline to the user and will not be able to receive messages or any other requests from the user.

Users may also set their privacy settings to "Always allow" in which case people who add you to their contact list will instantaneously see your status and other public details such as display name and user id which also bears a user's mobile number.
